Coming Together To Build is our motto but this time around we want you and your team to Come Together To Race with us and On! Get a team together who want to push the pace with you and be crowned the Donau Canal Relay running champs (all in the name of fun, teamwork and Strava bragging rights). Limited spots available, so don’t delay to get your team registered! Each team to consist of 4 members (2 female & 2 male, mandatory), whereby one at a time each member will run 2KM before handing over the watch to the next teammate to continue the cycle until the last person brings it home. Runners will run a KM one-way before turning back to complete the 2KM loop. Sounds like the perfect lactate party right?! The route will be divided along the canal, making it a one way track – those going to turn around point (Urania) and those heading back for the handover. This is to avoid overcrowding along the route and keep the excitement alive as you try to out pace the competition. The start will also be divided into heats with a certain number teams at a time and a 5min break before next race starts. Check out the route here.
What else can you expect during race day? On will be there to bring the full experience with their latest road running shoes available to test. Including the new, speedy and updated Couldboom Echo 3! Experience the new On shoe firsthand or feet first in this case, while racing along Vienna’s popular running route - The Donau Canal. But that’s not the only highlight: each participant will receive a race shirt, maybe even team coloured theme. After the joint efforts and celebrating each other, we head-over for post race/cheering hangout at TASTE (opposite side of the canal) over some good food, drinks and listening to the finest music (live Dj). Dancing is the best recovery! Trust us!
